Quantimetrix Robert W. Ban Pollinator Garden Wins First Place in the 61st CLCA Annual Beautification Awards Presented to Enviroscape LA for Quantimetrix

Redondo Beach, California – June 25, 2022 – the Quantimetrix Robert W. Ban Pollinator Garden, created by Enviroscape LA for Quantimetrix, has been named a First-Place winner in the F.H. Arklin Memorial Award for Commercial Project that Best Exhibits Excellence in Craftsmanship, and First Place for Small Commercial/Industrial Garden, by the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), San Fernando Valley Chapter 2022 Beautification Awards. The CLCA is an independent business award program judged each year by prominent landscape suppliers, landscape architects, public officials, educators, and students.

Upon receiving these awards, Monty Ban; Chairman, President, and CEO of Quantimetrix said, “This pollinator garden is a tribute to my father Robert W. Ban, PhD., who founded Quantimetrix. Its dedication is a legacy to his lifelong love of natural ecosystems and giving back to mother earth. The plants in this peaceful garden provide nectar and pollen for a wide range of pollinating insects and birds. My father would often say, ‘Where there is life, there is hope.’ I believe he would have been very proud of this garden.’”

Enviroscape LA is owned and operated by Mike Garcia. He has created award winning complete and sustainable native garden landscaping design, ponds, waterfalls, drip irrigation rainwater harvesting system installations for residential and commercial property in the Cities of the Los Angeles South Bay. The San Fernando Valley Chapter of the CLCA has been meeting since 1959, and provides educational opportunities, professional support, and social gatherings for green industry professionals to network and share experiences, by promoting the highest levels of professionalism, excellence, and integrity in their members. Each year the San Fernando chapter sponsors an awards program that promotes friendly competition between their members and recognizes the best in landscape design, construction, and maintenance within the organization.

The 2022 CLCA Annual Beautification Award honors were conferred in 22 different categories, including the F.H. Arklin Memorial Award, Small Commercial/Industrial Award, Xeriscape Award, Large, Medium, and Small Residential Award, Design/Build Award, and Public Works Installation Award, to name a few.
